The Antrim Forum is a sprawling sports and leisure complex that serves the local community with swimming pools, a gym, and various activity halls. It's the sort of place you'd bring kids for a proper splash about on a rainy afternoon, or knock out a few lengths if you're training for something. The main draw is the indoor pool - decent sized, reasonably warm, and usually busy enough that you don't feel like you're swimming in a ghost town.

If you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - Six Mile Water or Blair's Castlewood are both within walking distance - this is genuinely useful. The leisure centre is about half a mile from Six Mile Water, which means rainy days don't mean you're stuck in a static caravan playing board games. The gym facilities are competent rather than cutting-edge, and there are activity classes throughout the week that vary by season.

What you won't find here is the kind of excitement that defines a holiday. It's functional. Practical. The sort of place locals use regularly, not a destination in itself. That said, if your kids are water babies and you're camping nearby, an hour in the pool before tea is genuinely convenient. Antrim town centre is just up the road if you need shops or a café. The leisure centre works best as part of a wider trip rather than as your main event - think of it as the backup plan when the weather turns properly miserable, not the reason you've booked the week off.
