Bridge 22 Grand Union Canal

Bridge 22 on the Grand Union Canal near Rugby is precisely that - a sturdy stone span that carries you over the water if you're walking or cycling the towpath, or lets you admire the engineering if you're on a narrowboat pottering through Warwickshire.

It's not going to blow your mind with dramatic views or historic intrigue. What you get instead is a genuinely pleasant stretch of canal to explore on foot. The towpath either side is flat and easy, so it works well for families with young kids or anyone who'd rather avoid steep hills.
