Cane Wood

A proper woodland walk rather than a destination in itself, Cane Wood sits just outside Dover and offers what you'd expect from a Kent forest - tall trees, decent paths, and a bit of breathing space from the town. The wood is fairly compact, so you're looking at an hour or so wandering through if you take it slowly, longer if you're the type to stop and listen for birds.
