Practically speaking, I'd assume it's free to wander in (most parish churches are), but it's worth checking locally in Warminster first - they'll know if there are any restrictions. It works brilliantly as a quick cultural break if you're staying at any of the nearby parks. Center Parcs Longleat Forest is just three miles away, and if you're basing yourself there with kids, this gives you a proper historical detour without eating into your relaxation time. Far better than another lap of the gift shop.
