Creag Bhocarn

The walk up Creag Bhocarn isn't long, but it's steep enough to make you feel like you've properly earned the summit. This craggy peak rises above Alexandria in Argyll and Bute, offering views across towards Loch Lomond that justify the scramble. On a clear day you can see right down the loch - the kind of vista that makes you pause mid-breath.

It's a walkers' hill rather than a casual stroll. Give yourself a couple of hours return trip, and wear decent boots - the scramble at the top demands sure footing.
