Crumbland Plantation sits just inland from Chepstow, and it's the kind of forest walk that rewards you without demanding much effort. You're threading between mature trees, mostly planted decades back, with enough natural understorey to make it feel genuinely wild rather than manicured.

It works well for walkers after something low-key - not a dramatic fell walk, but solid woodland rambling that settles the mind.
