For a park holiday based at somewhere like Betchworth Fort Park or Surrey Hills Park, Earlswood slots in nicely as a half-day excursion. It's not dramatic enough to be a destination in itself, but it's exactly the sort of unshowy, proper English woodland walk that makes a caravan break actually restful rather than packed with must-sees. The proximity to Crawley means you're never far from supplies or amenities, which matters when you've got kids.
