Families with young kids will find it a bit dry unless they're already gallery-trained. Walkers using the coastal path through Felixstowe Ferry itself will stumble past it naturally enough. If you're staying at Felixstowe Beach Holiday Park or Suffolk Sands just down the road, it's worth a detour on a rainy afternoon - the sort of thing that fills an hour between lunch and the beach opening up again.

It's free to pop in, which is the only reason it makes sense as a casual stop. The real draw around here is the village itself - proper riverside spot with the ferry crossing - rather than the gallery. But if you're already at Peewit Caravans or one of the other parks within a few miles, you might as well have a look. Just don't plan your day around it.
