Giant's Quoits

Two massive standing stones arranged like a prehistoric game of quoits - that's what you get at this Bronze Age monument near Cornwall. They're properly impressive up close, weathered granite slabs that have been doing this for roughly 3,500 years. The stones sit on moorland with decent views across the landscape, and there's something rather moving about standing between them knowing how many centuries they've outlasted the people who put them there.
