Guilsborough Village Sign

The village sign at Guilsborough is the sort of thing you'd walk past without thinking twice - unless you actually stop and look at it properly. Guilsborough itself is a proper working settlement, not a tourist trap, so you'll get a genuine sense of rural Northamptonshire without the crowds.

The sign sits right at the village entrance, free to view and accessible anytime. It works best as part of a longer ramble rather than a standalone trip. The village is about five miles northeast of Northampton town centre, so it slots neatly into a broader exploration of the area if you're based at any of the caravan or glamping sites nearby. Kids won't be thrilled - it's a sign, after all - but walkers and photography types might appreciate the craftsmanship. Give it ten minutes if you're passing through.
