Walking into Hardenhuish Woods near Chippenham, you're immediately struck by how quietly the place does its job. This isn't a manicured nature reserve with interpretation boards and a visitor centre - it's proper woodland, the kind where you half expect to stumble upon something you weren't meant to see.
