Lilbourne Meadows

The meadows themselves flood seasonally, which keeps the land honest; you won't find manicured borders here.

This works best for walkers who actually want to walk, and for anyone sick of attraction fatigue. Families with older kids will find it decent enough for an hour, though younger ones might struggle without the structured activity angle. It's the sort of spot you pop into as part of a bigger day rather than making it the destination itself.

Bunkers Hill Farm, five miles away, makes a solid base if you're combining meadow walks with proper holiday park amenities. The meadows themselves cost nothing - you just turn up and go. Best visited on a weekday morning when Lutterworth workers have already cleared off elsewhere. Allow an hour minimum, longer if you're genuinely interested in riverside ecology rather than just ticking a box.
