Mile Belt

A proper walk through ancient woodland just east of Bury, Mile Belt is one of those forests that rewards you for actually paying attention. The trees are old - genuinely old - and the paths wind through them in a way that feels less manicured than many managed spaces. It's straightforward walking country. Nothing technical, but the ground can be boggy in places so decent boots matter.
