Natured Emporium

The Natured Emporium is a gallery space just outside Bexhill-on-Sea that focuses on natural world subjects and environmental themes. It's the sort of place that appeals to people who actually care about what they're looking at rather than ticking boxes on a tourist checklist.

The gallery showcases work with nature at its core - whether that's wildlife photography, botanical pieces, or art exploring our relationship with the environment. It's not a massive space, so you're looking at forty minutes to an hour if you want to properly absorb what's on display rather than rushing through. The intimate scale means you can actually read the artist statements without feeling crowded.

This works well if you're staying at one of the nearby parks - Combe Haven or Park Holidays UK are only a couple of miles away - and fancy a quieter cultural afternoon away from the seaside front. It's genuinely worth a visit if environmental art is your thing, though I'd not recommend making it your sole reason for a day out in Bexhill. Pair it with a walk along the promenade or pop into town proper to make a proper half-day of it.
