The converted Victorian bathhouse on the seafront in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea has become the town's cultural anchor, and it's genuinely worth a look if you're staying at Church Point or Sandy Bay. Inside, rotating exhibitions showcase contemporary art alongside community-driven work - nothing too cerebral, but engaging enough that you'll spend a good hour there without checking your watch.
