Walking into Pennyroyal Wood feels like stepping into someone's secret. It's a proper woodland experience just outside Emsworth, the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think rather than the usual carpark chatter that comes with bigger nature reserves.

The wood itself is thick with mature trees and decent paths that wind through without feeling over-managed.
