The view from the top spreads across the Vale of Belvoir, rolling countryside that stretches toward Leicester on a clear day. It's not dramatic, not exactly Instagram-worthy, but it's genuinely pleasant and gives you a real sense of where you are geographically. The hill itself is open access, free to walk, and there's something refreshing about that simplicity in an age where every attraction seems to want your tenner.

Walkers will appreciate it as a gentle leg-stretcher between longer routes across the Sherwood area. If you're with younger kids, they'll manage it without complaint - the gradient is forgiving. History types might find the area interesting given Newark's medieval castle sits close by, though Primrose Hill itself doesn't have particular historical baggage worth documenting.
