The mini golf course sits right on the edge of Birchington, and honestly, it's the sort of place that works brilliantly if you've got restless kids or you fancy a quick competitive round before lunch. Eighteen holes wind through a decent outdoor setup with the usual windmills and loops, nothing fancy but well-maintained enough that you won't spend the afternoon fishing balls out of grotty water traps.

It's not going to take you more than an hour, which is perfect if you're staying at Birchington Vale Holiday Park just down the road - close enough for a morning activity that won't eat into your day. The Foxhunter Park is also within striking distance if you're based there. Most people with young children will get decent value out of it; teenagers might find it a bit tame unless they're genuinely competitive. Adults should be honest with themselves - it's a bit of fun, not a serious round of golf.

The course works as a decent rainy-day backup or a between-activity filler rather than a destination in itself. Birchington's beach and the local seafront attractions are your real draws here, and this just slots in nicely as something to do when the weather's iffy or everyone needs a break. Worth a go if you're in the area and fancy something low-key.
