Children will find it mildly interesting but unlikely to hold their attention long.

Combine it with exploring Horncastle itself, which is proper market town territory with shops and decent cafes. The wider area around Tattershall Lakes and Willow Holt is strong for walking and outdoor parks, so St Margaret's fits into a longer day out rather than standing alone as a destination.
