The church sits just outside Newark, a substantial medieval structure that rewards a proper look round if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks. The real value here is layering it into a broader explore of Newark itself, which has proper medieval bones, or combining it with the holiday parks dotted around the area - Sherwood Castle and Sherwood Hideaway are close enough to make sense as part of a week's itinerary. Don't trek here as a destination in itself, but if you're based locally, it's well worth twenty minutes of your time.
