The paths are well-maintained and reasonably flat, making this a solid choice if you've got kids or elderly relatives in tow. Allow a couple of hours for a leisurely loop rather than rushing through. The reserve works brilliantly as a morning walk before heading into Leighton Buzzard town centre for lunch, or as a gentle afternoon option if you're based at one of the nearby camping spots like Hill Farm and Orchard or Wingbury Farm Glamping.

It's free to visit, which is a bonus, though there's not much in the way of facilities on-site so come prepared.
