Allensford Holiday Park Consett

Great park for families with plenty to do. There's a children play park and river. Plenty of space for children to play and picnic. There's a cafe sells ice cream drinks and food. Also a separate place to have meals including Sunday lunches

Very nice park with decent size playground, food shop, close to the river bank. Perfect for short break for kids, nice walk by the river or with the dogs. Decent size car park, toilets.

Nice park alongside a shallow in parts river, where the kids can paddle. There is a shop selling coffee etc. and publicly available toilets that are clean. There is also plenty of outside grassed space where you can lie in the sunshine, and picnic tables. Just stopped in for a break but some amazing improvements over the past few years. Great touring pitch on what was the kids park but that's been moved along and made better. Also a great cafe now so ideal for visitors as a pit stop and the dogs love it

Really good play equipment. Plenty parking beautifully kept, no rubbish laying around. The river is gorgeous. Bring water shoes as its rocky. Fun all day lovely big field for picnics. Didn't actually stay at the Holiday park just visited for the afternoon.
