Argyll Caravan Park

Lovely clean campsite by loch Fyne. And is a very nice stopover for the weary traveller. The only downside I would say is that they say its a nice easy walk into Inverary itself. If you call walking alongside the main artery A83 road with lorries and cars speeding alongside you at 60 mile an hour easy, I would say NOT...We did manage to get there and back, about 6 miles in total and admittedly ea...

Campervan travellers. Easy to book in even after 5pm, via the website. Clean facilities, but shame the bar wasn't open after 5, or 6 depending on what sign you read. Very tidy and well looked after grounds. Hard standing with grass sides available, but unless you have storm pegs for your awning, park a tyres width on the grass, as the grass has travelled/grown over the gravel by about that much.

This was a great campsite. One of my first ones on the trip and I think it spoiled me a bit for the rest. The pitches were nice and with a bit of green in between and the facilities where clean. The shower rooms where heated in the morning, which was a great surprise. The staff was nice and explained everything very well. Lovely site, they don’t accept blue chemical toilet but wished they sold some green just to help people if they haven’t arrived or forgot. Overall great site.

3 nights with camper van but also possible to hire statics. Excellent lochside position within walking distance of Inverarie. Off-road cycle route to Furnace. Very nice lunch at The Hub, next to reception and will soon be licensed with hours extended beyond current 12-8. Staff are great: welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of area.
