Ashbourne Heights Holiday Park

Lovely holiday park literally on the tissington trail. We stayed in a premuim lodge which was perfect for our family of 4 and had everyrhing we could possibly want. The pool was was really nice and lovely and warm even when it was cold outside ( I think they said it was 28 degrees). The staff were all very friendly and we intend to return.

We stayed in a glamping pod for four persons which cost us £65/ night and came with a double bed and a bunk bed with adequate bedding and room heater. The place has a park nearby and swimming pool. Places nearby to visit are Stepping Stones, Gullivers Theme park.

Recently spent a long weekend here in our motorhome, absolutely loved the site, it was spotless, not a scrap of littter anywhere, staff were friendly and very welcoming. They had what looked like a really nice indoor pool, washing machines and wash up facilities.and a decent shop for bits and bobs . Lovely camping site with big play area and swimming pool. Unfortunately the lack of showers toilets and washing up facilities really let this site down . There are only two fresh water taps again quite a distance from the casual camp field. The up keep and cleanliness of facilities isn't that great . Beautiful little holiday park. We stayed in the lodges for 2 nights whilst visiting Alton Towers. The pods are spotlessly clean, nice location and easy to access. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Check in and out was simple. The children's play park was quite impressive and the whole area well maintained. We would definitely return.
