Avon Wild Camping

Beautiful wild peaceful place! So much wildlife, you can only hear wildlife! A place to reconnect in nature and ourselves, truly a gem. Fantastic host Tom. Can't wait to return.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 7-8 year old as our first family camping trip. The boys absolutely loved the river and the little rope swings hanging from various points by the river. What a fabulous night away. Jo was very welcoming. When we arrived she was out picking up litter. Toilets were immaculate. The site was full of friendly campers. Great prices on wood to get the camp fire started. Will definitely be returning. Craig her partner was also very welcoming and showed us where to safely get into the river to have a wild swim. We hired a bell tent for the weekend, and it was perfect! Jo the owner when above and beyond for us, and nothing was ever too much! The kids loved going in the river, as did the dog! Had an amazing weekend with new friends, the campsite was the perfect setting. The kids loved having the freedom to explore, play and just be children. The staff where amazing and welcoming. Toilets where spotless and loved the different wallpaper, Oh and the slush puppies where a great addition 😊
