We only spent two nights here but felt so welcomed by our hosts. We were met on arrival by George, their son. Miriam came to check on us and her husband told us of the road closure that would affect our departure. There were two nearby roads shut which with a ...

Lovely campsite, quiet as off peak but toilets and showers clean. With nice additions like books and spare toiletries. The washing up area was also clean. Lots of space per pitch and more fields too for the kids to burn off some energy. Owners were lovely, booking and recommendations suggested. We would definitely ilgo to this campsite again if in the area!

Well kept site, good size pitch, utilities spotless with thoughtful extras available. Miriam the owner is lovely. Site is well located with ease of access to lots of local attractions. Tasty eggs for sale. A couple of cafes within easy walking, 'The Base' had lovely produce. Highly recommend, we stayed for 3 nights but would've stayed longer. One on the list to return.

Nice little campsite, stayed a couple of nights, good toilet block clean and tidy. good shower ,nice welcome by owner Didn't fishing there but the lake when looking round , only had 4 decent pegs but was told more by the owner ?, needs to cleared to make more pegs. No open to public which is a good thing. Would stay there again.

Nice, basic campsite. Clean and simple. Hot showers with no tokens. Don't attempt to drive over the grass with anything heavier than a car if it's been raining. Our motorhome had to be pushed out. Friendly staff.
