In a motorhome. Open field with no hookup. Liked it very much. We were in the furthest section F from the reception (efficient) and facilities. Had the whole section to ourselves except for one other family in tents. Very close to a fresh water tap. It was opposite the groups field but we didn't find it an inconvenience. Great camp site not sat on top of other campers, staff observant to watch out for fire hazard from barbecue and fire pits. First aid lady was brilliant after one of the youngsters had accident in the forest. Only one comment could do with an additional amenities block in camping field and electric points, this did not affect us for having a lovely time with family and will definitely return again.

I went to stay at the Camp Field with my girlfriend for a week just before the local summer vacation so the site was still quite calm and vacant. The facilities were great: The toilets were very clean (even the dixies on the campsite), the showers were a nice temperature and there were always sinks and showers available. Visited here for a spontaneous mid week one night camp and we weren't disappointed! The site was incredibly clean and tidy, surrounded by beautiful woodland. The facilities were modern and well laid out. In an excellent area to explore the local beaches. Fantastic! We'll be back.
