Church View Campsite

Pitches big enough, facilities are basic but clean, crazy golf was a laugh and the escape room was challenging but kids enjoyed it all. Good walks all round the area and shop and pub just down road. Chickens and cat free range around site. Kids loved this but dog was unsure. Worth the money and would visit again.

Lovely little campsite just off the A14 (outside the village of Barrow). Incredibly friendly staff, clean not-too-basic facilities, and a few activities to keep the kids occupied. We camped in our own tent on a non electric grass pitch, but I was given a tour of the sunflower bus glamping option which was really awesome! This campsite has bags of potential but unfortunately it’s not quite got it right at the moment. The current vibes of the campsite are rustic, back to basics camping which if that’s your thing then you’ll love it! Our family of 6 had an absolutely amazing time staying in Sunflower Sally. The bus was spotless, so much more spacious than expected and kitted out perfectly!! We all particularly loved the fact that we were able to sit in the drivers seat and pretend to be driving it. The air con was very much appreciated in the scorching heat.
