Common End Farm Campsite

Lovely location and a fairly small site compared to Pillaton Hall Farm where we start every year. Facilities are basic, but clean. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming. Far more relaxed than some places.

We had a lovely stay at Common end farm. We loved our introduction to camping and felt like the facilities were clean, and cleaned every day, but perhaps a little small. The chickens free roaming really made us feel apart of the farm, and the staff. WOW! You guys are lovely! The pitches were large, with plenty of room. Good site, good pitches. Toilet facilities are good, the shower cubicles are a little small and require frequent presses of the button to keep the water flowing. Good location, nice walking and nice local pub. If you are dog walking beware of the styles, as many are very dog unfriendly.

Wonderful views from our camping pitch. Showers are free and levelled up the camping experience. Close to some great walks, pubs and shops for emergency coffee run. Lovely family feel, no loud groups. Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent campsite. Dog friendly. Good pitches, well maintained and clean facilities, good warm showers. Lovely views across the valley and a pub nearby. Ashbourne just a couple of miles down the road with all the normal town facilities. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Perfect if you are heading to Alton Towers
