Dacre Lakeside Park

Did a 4 night stay. Had a lovely relaxing time. Staff friendly and helpful with recommendations. Had issues with hot tub on arrival but was sorted quickly ( forgot to put fill plug in so wouldn't fill lol). Minor other issues but didn't affect us. Stayed in lodge 2 (dragonfly) overlooking pond. Bed comfy on the soft side but suited us. You do get road noise from the main road but we soon didnt not...

The lodge was stunning in build, space and atmosphere. Large living room/dining area. Great bedroom and bathroom facilities. Good hot tub, but not very private. However, Bad internet connection, very dated (basic) TV, VERY dated conventional gas cooker (grill and hob). One dish towel, limited pans and blunt knives.

The shower blocks where messy, toilet paper all over the floor, the showers were useless, no pressure what's so ever and was either freezing cold or scolding hot. Plus not enough for the amount of people on the camp site.

Just back from 2 nights in the camping pods! Absolutely amazing time! Gorgeous place and the kids and the dog loved it! There is an on site pizzeria however it is very very expensive! £17.95 for a chicken burger!
