What a cracking little campsite! We visited for 2 nights with a touring caravan and had a lovely stay. It was quiet, scenic, the facilities are lovely, the site is well maintained, the staff are very friendly and the location is great for Hadrian's Wall the Roman forts, the pub and star gazing experiences. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. It has a really nice feel to it.

Brilliant campsite. Ideally suited for walking hadrians wall. Very well organised with well thought out pitches, plenty of space and privacy. The cleanest toilet/shower block we've ever seen and really friendly and helpful team. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

The Shepherds Hut was really clean and well equipped. It warmed up really quickly with the fire on. We got a very friendly welcome helpful information about the area. With Haltwhistle, Hadrian's Wall, Twice Brewed and Milecastle Inn all within walking distance it is very well located.

Site was very quiet and peaceful, pitches are extremely spacious and well maintained. Site is on a hill with pitches on different levels, with lots of trees and flowers. We were lucky to have a pitch at the top with a good view. Toilets are very clean and we...
