Haven Marton Mere Holiday Village

This refers to the booking. Looking forward to going on holiday here but one thing I didn't like with booking... Pre-booked a caravan here some time ago. All paid for good price a few months back. Only to have had an email last week demanding to pay an extra £150 due to the price going up. Not happy. It better be worth it! Not best impressed.

Short 4 night break. Weather not brilliant but it is November! The caravan itself was excellent value. Large living/dining area. Well equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms but only using 1 for sleeping (bags stored in 2nd). Small bathroom but decent size shower with good water pressure. We visited Marton Mere recently for the first time and really liked the site. Our caravan was a very high standard, spacious and comfortable. The site amenities were more than adequate for our needs, although some fresh vegetables in the shop would be appreciated. We found the club enjoyable and liked the arcade. However we thought there should be more play parks throughout this very large site. ...

It's good overall, but I wouldn't like to visit during kids holidays as I feel like the site facilities are not big enough to handle a busy site. The kids entertainment was good but delayed some nights leaving a lot of kids needing to be quiet for bingo which wasn't a fun experience for anyone with a toddler.
