Lampeter Caravan & Camping

We stayed here over Christmas and Stuart and Laura were brilliant, happy to help with anything and everything. The site is in a great location, very peaceful and we had a perfect Christmas getaway on a motorhome pitch. The facilities are just what you need. Would highly recommend this site.

Disappointed with our stay, the site is not as well kept as the pictures portray. The long grass on the field had been cut at some point but then left insitú to dry out, so it constantly got everywhere including inside the tent & all over us. We stayed here over the bank holiday with Tent 1 (five people) and Tent 2 (seven people). The location is beautiful and the campers’ atmosphere was friendly, but our overall experience was disappointing. Pricing: On Pitchup.com our stay showed as £93.50 with electricity. When booking directly, we were quoted higher rates (£115.50 and £130), and on arrival were charged even more (£120 and £160). T...

Some pitches are on steep slopes and uncomfortable for tents. Prices were higher than advertised online, and the electricity went out once. From our experience, the owner does not seem very welcoming to visitors living in England from other countries, based on a comment he made to us.

Very average. Campsite is a plain slightly sloped field. There’s a shower and a toilet but everything needs some love. Fire pit and benches are completely worn down, trash cans overflowing, field not properly maintained / mown. A “rustic shower shack” doesn’t mean it can be full of cobwebs and dead flies neither. Can’t imagine spending a holiday here, an overnight stopover was already borderline ...
