Oakdene Forest Park - Shorefield Holidays

About 24 minutes to Bournemouth beach. Not bad for things to do, pool, sauna, waterside, pleasant to the eye, clean. Plenty of supermarkets around it, and a pub. The swimming pool acces is a very grey area, and frustrating to use. Lovely lodges and very clean site. Unfortunately, the bar staff are a bit rude and confrontational, also a bit judgy. The entertainment is absolutely dreadful, they literally can't be bothered. The head of entertainment has a chip on her shoulder, maybe because a women in mid life is doing the job of a teenager, badly!

Stayed here for a couple of nights in early December, I was really impressed by the general tidiness and presentation of the Park. The site was very dog friendly and the easy access to the Hurn Forest for dog walking was a real boon. The staff were very friendly. The caravans appear to be quite close together so noise could be an issue at busy times. Access and egress is via the A31 which can get ...

Had a great weekend here with my 2 kids, holiday park was great. The staff were outstanding!great service especially Elisha who works in the bar and resturant, always happy great with the kids, bubbly, just a pleasure to be served by. The gym,pool,steam and suana is a great facility to have. Great stay over overall.
