Parkdean Resorts Ocean Edge Holiday Park, Lancashire

Had a 2 person caravan, was OK but some issues (only half a shelf in the fridge and generic replacement oven shelves (that kept collapsing, whilst cooking)). Pool is small but OK and has a sauna, entertainment was OK in the evenings we went. Drinks at the bar are not the cheapest (£6.80 for a pint of guiness and £24 for a bottle of wine). It's quiet in March and quite perfect when the weather is good. It's a nice place to.bring dogs. Prices are very hight if you're eating out, but the NISA local shop is quite reasonably priced. Although we had a lovely caravan customer service was very bad in the restaurant. Ridiculously slow and they missed half our order. Staff need more training. Wine was very pricey too. There wasnt anywhere to relax on site apart from sitting in the restaurant so a quiet bar would be a good addition. Entertainment was average for a caravan park. I recently stayed here while visiting family in the area. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. The food was excellent, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
