Petruth Paddocks Campsite

Petruth is a lovely site with beautiful views and very friendly owners. I was made to feel very welcome and the site had all the amenities you could need. Jules and the Team at Petruth Paddocks are really great and super friendly, communication with them has been very easy. The campsite and facilities are fantastic and in an amazing location for exploring all the local sites in Somerset. I'd rate this as one of the best campsites I've been to. We were going to arrive late on the first night so we phoned ahead and the team bent over backwards to accommodate us. Very generous pitches. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location a short walk along the river to Restaurants and shops, Very easy access to Cheddar Gorge and Caves. Electricity charged by meter so only pay for what you use.

My partner and I stayed here in October for 4 nights. Had a wonderful time, the site was perfect. Short walk from cheddar and the gorge. The facilities were great, the showers especially appreciated having a nice hot showers with solid water pressure in the colder autumn weather. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Felt very at home and welcomed on this campsite. Would definitely stay here again...
