I stayed here around 10 times between February 2024 and August 2025, usually visiting alone with my two autistic children, who especially loved the hot tub. During my visits I generally felt safe and comfortable, which was important to me as a parent travelling alone. Very nice location especially the hot tubs. Nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walks were a drive out as it’s next to a main road but lots to do! The lodge was unfortunately not clean, the floors were dirty and dust everywhere. The pots and pans were filthy with food left on them from previous guests. Stayed here for two nights while visiting the Blackpool lights. Great site — very secure with a small on-site shop for essentials. Toilets were heated, clean, and well looked after. Would definitely stay again.

Recently stayed in the Greywolf logged cabin (largest cabin sleeping up to 16) Had an amazing time, with a perfect peaceful location & stunning views over the lake. We had enough parking for all our 7-8 vehicles to park right next to the cabin.
