Red Squirrel Campsite C&CC 5cs

A beautiful quiet location. Owners and wardens very friendly and helpful. Adults only and dog friendly. Facilities are excellent and always clean. Great location for all your holiday requirements, walking, cycling and visiting local sites and Dumfries. Also on offer are home made preserves from Margaret and Honey from Hamish. 5 star from us and will definitely recommend.

Great little campsite find off the main A76, lovely owners, small (maybe max 10-12 units), electrical hookup, toilet & shower spotless, if a little light on flow & pressure - peaceful little glen with the sound of birds and rustling leaves to wake up to. Awesome.

Absolutely idyllic! Facilities were perfect and it was lovely and quiet! I bought some honey from Hamish ( the owner) who keeps his own bees..We will certainly be back!

Lovely little site, quiet location with adequate facilities if you wanted them, Margaret and Hamish very friendly hosts, plenty of walks and lovely scenery about, a great chill out site, but need transport if you want to explore the area. I would be happy to return again.

Very peaceful and friendly camp site. A small site, about 15 pitches for tents and camper vans. Electric hookup available, adults only. Dogs welcome. The owners and wardens are very friendly and welcoming, be sure to buy some of Hamish's honey. The site is set in a very rural location, popular with walkers, cyclists and climbers.
