We just got back from the otter went with three kids 3,7,13. I decided to book this due to the kids being constantly obsessed with technology and because was on a farm and up by where I grew up I wanted to take kids away for a quiet weekend. What an amazing place! The wife and I were looking for a quiet weekend away and we stumbled across this gem. It was just what we needed to relax. We stayed at Crannach, a brilliant yurt with it's own wood fired hot tub. This is a place we are definitely coming back to!

Amazing!! We stayed here for 3 nights, mid way through our Scotland itinerary, and it was the absolute perfect location to relax and enjoy the peace before the grind of the tour started up again. Amazing few days away, these guys have thought of everything ❤️. The setting is amazing, the accommodation is perfect and fishing/kayaking up top loch was the kids highlight of our stay ☺️ Dalgety woods is lovely and quiet for a dog walk, and Crovie to Gardenstown beach is beautiful too. We had the best time at Sheppard’s Loch, first weekend for the season and it was the most peaceful place to relax. The Beehive was excellent, lots of space and all the amenities you need. The kids had a great time riding around on the buggy’s and playing on the zip line. The Sheppard Shoppy has a variety of food and amenities which was handy as I forgot the marshmallows for the fire.
