Anderby Creek Beach

The beach at Anderby Creek is one of those Lincolnshire coastal stretches that rewards the visitor who doesn't expect too much. It's flat, wide, and genuinely peaceful - the sort of place where you can actually hear yourself think, unlike the chaos of Skegness a few miles down the coast.

What you get here is sand and shingle in equal measure, backed by low cliffs and a scattering of beach huts that have seen better days. The creek itself is the draw for some - it cuts through the beach and creates rock pools worth poking about in at low tide. It's not dramatic, but there's something honest about it.

Families with young kids will find it manageable enough for a couple of hours; the gentle slope means you can wade without panic, and there's enough space to spread out. Walkers will appreciate the quietness and the long sight lines along the shore.
