Asplands Husk Coppice

The woodland around Asplands Husk Coppice, just outside Alcester, is the sort of place you stumble upon rather than plan for - which is precisely its charm. Ancient coppiced hazel and oak create a proper canopy overhead, the kind that turns a grey Warwickshire afternoon into something altogether more atmospheric. You're walking through working woodland here, not a manicured nature reserve, so paths vary depending on the season and what the local management has been doing.
