Families staying at nearby Proctors Park or High Meadows Farm might spot it during a village walk, though it's hardly a tourist destination. The real draw here is the peaceful village setting rather than architectural grandeur. Barrow upon Soar itself makes for a pleasant hour's stroll with its mix of older cottages and the River Soar running alongside.
