The main draw is straightforward: you wander through different sections, reading labels if you're that way inclined, and watch the landscape shift beneath your feet.

It's the kind of place where two hours passes without you noticing. Tree enthusiasts will be in their element, obviously, but families with primary-school kids do well here too - there's enough space to let them run about without constant supervision, and the ground's manageable enough. Autumn is genuinely special; spring's decent too if the Japanese varieties are flourishing. Winter feels a bit sparse if you're being honest.
