Bleadon Cavern

Natural limestone formations twist through the Mendip Hills at this lesser-known cave system near Highbridge. The cavern cuts deep into the rock face, offering a proper underground adventure without the crowds you'll find at more famous Somerset caves like Wookey Hole. Formed over thousands of years by water erosion, the passages reveal impressive stalactites and flowstone formations that catch torchlight beautifully.
