The covered market hall in Bolton is exactly what you'd expect from a proper Lancashire market - nothing fancy, just good honest trading under one roof. Built in the Victorian era, it's still functioning much as it always has, with stalls selling everything from fresh veg and meat to cheap household goods and clothing.
