Bowling Green

The walk up takes maybe fifteen minutes from the nearest parking spot, and it's steep enough to get your heart pumping without requiring mountain gear. On clear days, you can pick out Snowdon itself brooding on the horizon, while the Strait stretches out below like a blue ribbon between Anglesey and the mainland.

Families with older kids will enjoy the scramble, though toddlers might find the terrain a bit challenging.
