Walkers doing the longer Tanat Valley routes will absolutely slot this in as a natural stopping point.

Oswestry sits just four or five miles north, so it's a logical add-on to a week around here. If you're based at Tanat Holiday Park or Cranberry Moss, both within easy reach, this makes a morning's expedition without eating into serious exploring time. Check conditions before you go - the Tanat can be moody in wet weather, and the paths reflect that.
