An art gallery in Wokingham that actually lets you buy the work on the walls - which sounds obvious until you realise how many galleries treat their stock like museum pieces you're only allowed to look at. The space itself is fairly compact, nothing fancy, but that's rather the point. You're here for the paintings, not the architecture.

It's the sort of place that works best if you actually like art and aren't just killing time between visits to Wellington Country Park down the road. Serious collectors might find something proper, but equally, if you're after an affordable original to take home rather than another framed print from a high street chain, there's real value in browsing what they've got. Most visits take thirty minutes to an hour unless you're genuinely deliberating over a purchase.

The location - tucked away in Wokingham - makes it an easy add-on if you're based at Wellington Country Park or California Chalet & Touring Park for a week. It's close enough to Reading that you could justify combining it with a proper town day out, though Wokingham itself is hardly a destination. Opening hours aren't certain from here, so ring ahead before you go. Worth noting it's free to walk in and look, which takes the pressure off entirely.
