The woodland around Llanfairpwllgwyngyll is proper walking country. Coed Llanfair is essentially a wooded area that gives you access to some decent trails through mixed forest - the sort of place where you can actually stretch your legs without fighting crowds. It's free to explore, which is the best kind of attraction.

What you get here depends entirely on what you want from a walk. The woodland itself isn't dramatic - no waterfalls or viewpoints that'll stop you in your tracks - but it's peaceful and green, with enough paths to keep you occupied for an hour or two. Families with young kids will find it manageable enough, though there's nothing specifically laid on to keep them entertained beyond the walking itself.
