The layout winds through tree-lined fairways, which gives it a bit of character compared to some of the flatter Midlands courses. Expect around four and a half hours if you're a decent golfer, longer if you're still finding your swing. It's not the most dramatic course you'll play, but it's respectable - good enough to spend a morning on if golf is your thing. The real strength here is location. You're minutes from Clumber Park itself, the National Trust property with its lake and woodland walks, so it slots nicely into a holiday that mixes activity with downtime. Non-golfers in your group won't find much to do at the club itself, but you won't feel stranded - Worksop town centre is close by, and the park estate offers proper escape routes.
